Huehuetenango coffee is grown in the highland regions of northern Guatemala. Led by Marcos Domingo, three families & nine producers group together to produce this complex coffee. They handle all of their own picking and traditional washing stations and work alongside Luis Pedro Zelaya and Beneficio Bella Vista. Luis Pedro Zelaya, a fourth generation coffee producer, miller and exporter, is a leader in the Antigua & Huehuetenango coffee community. He previously served as the director of the Antigua Coffee Growers Association, which was founded by a group of producers in 2000 to protect the integrity and quality of the Antigua name and coffees grown in the region.
